Today, I’m about to share a true story I heard recently—one that still haunts people today. The names and some details are changed for privacy, but the events revolve around a house near Panadura that is said to be cursed.👀
This house was once home to an elderly couple, Samson and Maggie, and their son, Nilantha. Nilantha, from a young age, suffered from a minor mental disorder. As the couple grew older, tragedy began to strike, marking the beginning of the house's eerie history. 😶🌫️
At the time of these events, Nilantha was married with a small child. However, fate had it that his wife also struggled with mental health issues. As Samson's health declined with age, he eventually passed away. This loss deeply affected Nilantha, who was already fragile.
On the seventh day after Samson's death—on the very day of his father's religious ceremony—Nilantha, overwhelmed with grief, headed to the Bolgoda bridge with a tragic resolve. Without hesitation, he parked his motorbike on the bridge and jumped into the river. His lifeless body was discovered two days later. 😶

However, after just a month and a half, the family abruptly left, saying it was impossible to live in the house due to strange and terrifying occurrences. 👀
Subsequent families who moved in reported similar experiences, with many claiming that they couldn’t stay in the house during the night. Some even said they saw an elderly couple wandering through the house at night, causing them great fear. 😶🌫️
To make matters worse, neighbors reported seeing Nilantha’s ghost, leaning against the house’s walls, staring at it—his presence lingering after his tragic death at Bolgoda bridge. 😶🌫️
